As a dedicated stonemason I have a keen interest in old buildings and building techniques, such as stone carving and lime mortar pointing, and I enjoy working with the traditional materials which they were originally made from.
I'm qualified to
City & Guilds Craft and Advanced Levels
and have been in this trade since 1986, specialising in all traditional masonry work.
Maybe I can help you?
… for instance, with some pointing, grouting, cleaning or other routine repairs to masonry or dressed stonework?
Or perhaps you are already thinking about some more extensive restoration or rehabilitation work, maybe including the construction of some new drystone or rubble walls or some other new feature in the house, the outbuildings, the garden or grounds?
Apart from the specialist conservation and restoration tasks, we can also easily take on most other painting and general building work
Where are we?
We normally operate within a fifty mile radius of Llandrindod Wells, Powys, in the UK
– that's in Mid Wales, but the area takes in almost the whole of Wales and The Welsh Borders, plus Hereford & Worcester, the West Midlands, Shropshire and some of Staffordshire and if you want to twist our arm to go further afield than that, we're always prepared to listen …
You can get in touch with us by phone/fax – 01591 620441
or by email
